He is an artist who works mainly on paper, developing his work through series, which allows him to observe his artistic evolution over time. Self-taught by nature, Vilamoure bases his creative process on observation, with art history and the act of looking being his main influences.

Among its most notable series are Sofas, Lamps, Bags , a series of portraits of contemporary artists, and , where he explores the idea of ​​portraiture, beauty and the construction of personality, and Animals in danger of extinction.

Together with his partner, the artist Marita Carmona, Vilamoure runs the Dodo Dadá gallery.
