This book has a charitable purpose: the profits raised from its sale will be sent directly to affected Palestinian families.

A balada do exilio narrates the dispossession and erasure of the Palestinian people, a culture and its history. It also narrates the suffering and trauma of people who are deprived of the possibility of returning to their place of origin.

Xulio Cid Neira poetizes this escape in a great way. We must take into account how difficult it is to do this exercise from here, in the West, and from the poetic field and at the same time be rigorous and not at all pretentious with a subject as delicate as this one. He comes out more than graceful and with his voice he expresses reasons like fists to denounce all the injustice that this town has suffered over the decades.
