Born in Zamora (1971), son of Galician parents. Reside in Galicia since 1978.
Degree in Painting from the University of Salamanca, 1989-94.
Doctoral courses, Polytechnic University of Valencia, 1994-96.
Postgraduate program, Studio Arts Center’s International, Florence (Italy), 1996-97.
After short stays in France and the US, it is installed in the Galician field next to the Sagro Pico in 2000.
About the work
Pablo Orza's creative activity covers a wide range of artistic records ranging from the plastic arts (painting, collage, sculpture, installation), photography and video, to music, dance and writing (poetry).
His work is grouped around several thematic nuclei that intertwine with each other. The social and the individual. The body and the territory. Cycles and transformations. Mysticism and energy. The abstract and the symbolic.
There is a strong experiential and visionary component, even therapeutic, at the origin of its creative impulse.
